Practice teaching skills with YAA Certified Senior Teacher Marcia Langenberg. Note: Due to recent increases in Covid numbers this workshop will be offered ONLINE VIA ZOOM only.
Friday 7-9pm, Saturday 9-4:30 & Sunday 9-4:30 (w/1 hour breaks)

YAA sponsored classes and workshops provide cost-effective teacher training and upgrading opportunities for mentorship with YAA Senior Teachers. These workshops offer an opportunity for teachers to refine their voice and cuing skills in a friendly, constructive, non-judgmental atmosphere of sharing and learning. Learn about many different physical abilities that may be encountered in a class scenario and how to ensure the safety and welfare of all participants.
TEACHERS: Wanting to freshen up your skills and work towards Advanced Training Levels? All teachers and teachers-in-training are welcome to attend and are sure to get valuable insights to upgrade their skills. Hours may be counted towards YAA Equivalency Certification, Recertification requirements and Advanced Training at the 500-, 750- and 1,000-Hour Levels.
TTP STUDENTS: Teaching Skills Workshops are an integral part of your program. Three of these workshops are required within your program, and they are only offered twice per year. Don’t miss this one! New TTP students may join in on any date (more info here).
Teacher: Marcia Langenberg has had a variety of teaching experiences as a Waldorf teacher, reading specialist, and yoga teacher / mentor over the last 40 years. Teaching is her dharma (duty, purpose). It is what gives her stability / steadiness and energy / vitality. It is what lifts her up when she is down. She is grounded in the knowledge of the discipline she is teaching, committed to continual study, open to the needs of her students and motivated to meet them. She is a compassionate warrior who is supported by her yoga practice when meeting challenges, obstacles, failures and when meeting solutions, opportunities, successes in teaching. Marcia holds a Bachelor of Physical Therapy Degree, a Professional Certification for Teaching, a Master of Education in Philosophy of Education, a YAA Permanent Senior Teacher Certification, Sandra Sammartino Yoga Teacher Training and Teacher Trainer Certificates and a Rosemary Jeanes Antze Yoga Teacher Development & Mentoring Program Certificate.
