Hormone Yoga (HY) CAN HELP!
HY can help everything on the list, plus some. It is a dynamic sequence of yoga postures and breathing techniques that naturally balance the hormones by stimulating the ovaries, the thyroid, the pituitary and the adrenal glands.
This workshop is for most women over 35 to prevent or eliminate the symptoms that come with the gradual decrease of the 2 main female hormones, estrogen and progesterone, as we age.

Whether you are menstruating or haven’t had a period in years, there is relief to be found through this practice.
Most women see results and continue to get stronger and feel better within a week of consistent practice. It is suitable for most women and requires no previous yoga experience.

The benefits of taking this workshop as a series:

You will likely experience results while learning the practiec. When I taught this over the course of 2-4 weeks, so many women reported that they started experiencing results before they completed the workshop. Imagine what can happen over 6 weeks!
You will be developing consistency by coming each week, which you need for this practice.
You will have a much deeper understanding, and muscle memory, of the sequence and techniques by the end because we will slowly build and repeat what we have learned each week.
All of this means you’ll have a higher chance of continuing on your own after the ws ends and that means better results!
We will run this 7.5hr workshop over 6 weeks. You will get Halloween night off and then we will come back the next week for our final class. You will have learned most of the practice at this point!
For the week off, you get a bonus! I have an On Demand Refresher for you to take and review everything we have done up to that point and then you’ll get a preview of what is coming which will help you solidify the practice.

Contraindications:

  • Hormone Dependant Breast Cancer (and other hormone dependent cancers)
  • Pregnancy- You can practice after 6 months of having the baby or with doctors permission to proceed with regular exercise. HYT can help with breastfeeding!
  • Diastasis Recti
  • Advanced Endometriosis (medical permission needed if it isn’t advanced, please contact me prior to registering as you will need to also work with your doctor.)
  • Recent Eye Surgery (concern is increased ocular pressure, we invert and we retain breath)
  • Glaucoma/Detached Retina
  • Serious Osteoporosis
  • Fibroids/Myomas over 3cm (medical permission needed for small fibroids, under 3cm)
  • Appendicitis without the appendix being removed
