Description

Meeting ourselves is medicine. Meeting takes us beyond our lifelong patterns of reactivity. It restores our ability to engage actions that enable us to feel in harmony with ourselves and the world. Responding to what life is asking of us—is love in action. Reactivity, aversion, attachment, and clinging give rise to separation and results in distress, anxiety, and fear. While the opposite of acts of separation is love, love has no opposite. Herein lies the peace that passes all understanding.

Retreat is a time to meet yourself and experience your source essence that enables you to recover, nourish, and rest in unconditional inner peace, stillness, love, and equanimity that exist innately within you. Here, separation falls away and we awaken into our underlying unconditional compassionate loving presence that lies beyond the stories and narratives of who we, too often, take ourselves to be. This awakening is the necessary step that opens us into the lifelong journey of embodying, clarifying, deepening, and resting into who we truly are.

Living from this awakened view effortlessly awakens essential qualities within, including ease, love, peace, joy, and unbreakable well-being that enables us to truly live our principles of authenticity and responsiveness—with ourselves and in our relationships with others and the world.

In the comfort of your own home, on retreat, explore the depth teachings of meditation and self-inquiry that invite you to realize your innate indestructible well-being through periods of guided and silent meditation, self-inquiry, gentle BodySensing and BreathSensing Yoga, iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation, and interactive dialogue and discussion.

While taking a respite from your daily life, retreat will help you:

  • Meet yourself, recognize, and awaken to your essential source essence
  • Integrate meditation into all of your daily activities
  • Strengthen inner resources for healing challenging beliefs and emotions
  • Grow faith and trust in the ability to tap into your innate intuitive wisdom
  • Deepen intimacy with yourself and all of life

As we awaken we learn to relate to the inner and outer world from our felt-sense of perfection, rather than from feelings of lack and insufficiency. So, what facilitates awakening? Restoring, nourishing, and resting as the underlying essence-presence-being that we truly are. What could be more pure, simple, and direct?
